Wassailing

Wassailing my apple tree , it's a bit late really it's meant to be done around Xmas but it was a smudge cold .
Wassailing is a very old English tradition of blessing the fruit trees for a plentiful harvest , offering booze to the trees .
Last year my lovely apple tree , which produces the most scrummy apples did slightly fail us some what ,the said tree did not do very well due to the cold , so I blessed it with some cider and a little asking for apples with my treasured Handlebar Club mug and some jolly nice Henry Westons Cider .
I hope it does the trick .

Lord Burns CAMPING DING DONG

Straight after being back from spending time with Dutchies , Packed the kangoo up and headed south for a camping trip with Lord Will of Burns camp commander of camp cooking ,
After following the sun for a few hours we found camp Burns .
Got the Natty bell tent up and hoisted the jack toasted the Queen and newly weds with some local brew and set about our cook feast and outside jolly pranks .
After a scout around the site I came across a tribe of hippies ,so set about giving them all standard issue haircuts . Some of there women folk had to be burned as I believe them to be Witches and don't like the tye-dye Knicker on lady's BURN YE.
Very pleased with the Natty tent first outing .
We had a head count of 35 at the camp Sir Will so it was a right old knees up.
Thanks goes out to Sir Will & crew for there amazing doings and boozing .
